Marathon of life

I enjoyed the 1/2 marathon yesterday despite feeling the pain today on my legs! It was a comfortable and good run as a whole until I reached the last few kms, leg cramps were in full force (from my calves to my thighs) and I hobbled all the way to the finishing line. It was a good feeling to complete the run in not too bad a time. And a more determined feeling to better my time next year and to address the cramp issues. I may just be pounding on the course again next year!

This is one of the things in life that keeps me motivated - to just better myself and to run my own race in life. It is a sure fire way to combat any addictions and/or bad habits.
