Yesterday was my birthday, and I had a relatively relaxing day apart from being challenged by my 3 year old. I thought about all the past birthdays in my 20s when I never woke up sober. And I came to a conclusion that being challenged by a 3 year old isn't all that bad....lol!
To make things even more enjoyable, I told my daughter yesterday when she was being difficult, "Darling, it is my birthday today, can you please give me a break." And she said, "I don't have any, can we go shopping to buy it?"
Best birthday present ever!
