How Does Reiki  Work?Usui Reiki
Reiki, originally from the ancient eastern world, is about tapping into the
universal life-force energy that is vital to the sustenance of human & all other
life forms. Reiki also helps to accelerate natural healing processes in us.
We are alive because life force is flowing through us. The same energy also
flows around our auric field. Life force nourishes the organs and cells of the
body, supporting them in their vital functions. When this flow of life force is
disrupted, it causes the diminished function of one or more of the organs and
tissues in the physical body.
Imbalances in our physical, emotional, mental & spiritual state can also easily
disrupt the flow of this life force within, manifesting many forms of dis-ease
such as emotional instability, anger, depression and even physical illnesses in
our bodies.
As this life force is responsive to thoughts and feelings, we can disrupt it
when we accept, either consciously or unconsciously, negative thoughts or
feelings about ourselves. These negative thoughts and feelings becomes blocks in
our energy field and cause disruptions in the flow of life force. The disrupted
flow of life force will have a negative impact on the healthy functioning of the
organs and cells in our body.
Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and
charging them with positive energy. It raises the vibratory level of the energy
field in and around the physical body where the negative thoughts and feelings
are attached. This causes the negative energy to break apart and fall away. In
so doing, Reiki clears, straightens and heals the energy pathways, thus allowing
the life force to flow in a healthy and natural way.
