Dramatic Dog

This morning as usual I took my frisky healthy 13 year old dog for her walk, fed
her when we came home and continued with my usual routine. About an hour later
she started throwing up and didn't look right. After a while she literally
collapsed to the ground, her eye lids were heavy and she was breathing very
hard. Her limp tongue was sticking out from the side and she looked like she was
dying. I thought at that moment that she was going to leave us soon. I prayed
over her and did some healing. What was most important for me is that she does
not suffer if she has to go. So I asked Spirit and the masters for her karmic
cords to be cut and that her transition be a quick and painless one. I kept her
company, just singing, praying and stroking her while I made arrangements on the
phone to bring her to the vet. 
The vet was not open today, and our regular pet taxi service was not in
operation today, so it took me some time to make alternative arrangements. By
the time I finished making arrangements, Trix the beagle dramatically stood up
and walked away as if it was the most normal thing in the world! I was
speechless. Her eyes were as bright as usual again though she still looked a
little tired. 
What a dramatic turn around! I guess she is just not ready to leave us yet :-)
